Can I stop TypeScript compilation errors from "popping up" the bottom drawer?

I've been using WebStorm to do some TypeScript coding with file watchers automatically transpiling it to JavaScript. It's going pretty well but I've run into an annoying little problem. The file watcher will attempt a compilation when I'm in the middle of typing and find errors, which makes the Run window pop up in the bottom drawer, then when I finish typing the errors are fixed and the drawer automatically hides itself. This is getting a bit annoying because it sometimes changes where the text is on the screen, and it's just disorienting to see a drawer pop open then pop closed right after. I've tried changing the settings but I've only managed to make things worse. As far as I can tell, putting the window into Pinned Mode should mean that it never pops away, but that isn't working. Is there something I'm missing here?

Hi there,

1) You can uncheck "Immediate file synchronization" option in your TypeScript File Watcher so it will only run compilation when you save the file and not immediately after typing few characters.

2) You can set "Show console" to "Never" (once again -- in your TypeScript File Watcher) so it (console) will never show up.
