Navigate File broken?

Hi,

currently I'm unable to find files using "Navigate File" ([CTRL] + [SHIFT] + N), see attached picture. The file doesn't shop up in the search result even if it clearly exists.

Somehow only modified files in the VCS (Git) show up in the search results.

I've tried for an hour now, but couldn't resolve the problem. Any help?
