Karma not debugging in WebStorm

I recently installed Karma on my 64 bit Windows 7 PC to run JS debugging in WebStorm, but after installing I am unable to actually debug. When I press the debug icon or run it using the keyboard the output window pops up and says waiting for browser capturing then stops, if I manually open the browser through the link it provides, the page apears with a green debug button and nothing happens. I am unable to debug my code in any way and have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Karma, npm and node.js. I followed all the instructions and installed node.js through Chocolatey and installed Karma through npm but the problem persists. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Thanks in advance.
