Idea on Mac OS X

Just a small thing really, why doesn't idea support the mac standard menu bar (top of screen rather than top of window)? I know if can be done in java, why isn't idea using it?

This have been discussed many times before. IDEA uses its own event queue and heavily relies on a event sequence which
gets broken when using standard manu bar unfortunately. We're looking for a workaround here but no luck so far.

Has Apple weighed in? I assume you used one of your own paid tech
support incidents, as you never replied to my offer of a paid tech
support incident that was going to expire.
