IDEA Pallada (2013) and "is never used tags..."

Hi,

All of a sudden the IDEA can say that all my declared variables are unused in the code when in fact they ARE used. When I first open the IDEA it is fine, but after a while I have tons of yellow lines to the right and the variables are grey.

What the heck is happening?

Yesterday I had problem with the IDEA not detecting if the syntax was correct or not, the compiler catches it of course, but it would be nice of the IDEA to tell me in advance.

The first problem is known but nobody has been able to consistently
reproduce it enough for them to fix it.

I think it happens when I have used the debugger. It just now happened after running the debugger for a couple of times.

Even without the debugger, that happens.
