PHPStorm 7 bug or just me?

I haven't been able to track this down to a repeatable problem, but it's driving me crazy.

After upgrading from 6.x to 7.0, I occasionally will have an editor window suddenly scroll to the top of the page. It's almost always after switching between open files, but it sometimes is immediate and sometimes after approximately 1 second. I never experienced this in version 6.x/

Most of the files I'm editing are PHP, and most are classes, so it could be that it's jumping up to the initial class declaration. Could I be hitting some new keyboard shortcut accidentally?

I'm running on Mac OS 10.8.5.

Thanks!

Hi there,

I assume you have Structure side panel open?

It could be because of some delayed processing which makes IDE think that you have manually selected top entry (which is a class one) and navigates to that point.

If this is the case -- check the panel's options (under the cog icon) -- see if disabling "Autoscroll to Source" will do any different (you may require to double click on an entry in Structure panel to navigate to that method/field/etc)

I do indeed have the Structure side panel open.

I've unchecked the Autoscroll, and will see how it goes.

Thanks for the recommendation!

OK, after a day with this change, it looks like that was indeed the problem. Thank you!
