Java 1.5 ?

Now that the beta of Java 1.5 is out, I tried it with Idea aurora. The
new language features (boxing, enhanced for, varargs, ...) are not
supported (the editor underlines them, as syntax errors).
(Generics, however are supported).

Will this be supported in the final version of Idea 4 ?

Thanks,

BoD

Hi Bluescreen of Death,

It was said 10 times in these forums, that IDEA 4 will not contain full
support for all JDK 1.5 features, but the next version 4.1 will have it.

Ok thanks! No need to be agressive you know ;) Maybe there's a faq
somewhere I'm not aware of?

Anyway, thank you.

Might I suggest you add this note to the "product features" page on your
website? the 'generics' section would seem to suggest a seamless
transition...

lol! /me st00pid. I just saw 'Alexey' and thought 'Alexei' (as in Alexei
Nikitin).
Nice, this interweb - if you make a fool of yourself your audience is
so much bigger. :)

That is why one normally uses forum software with support for sticky entries.
