lower/upper case switch in editor

Hi,
Is there a way to change a selection's case?
For example: lowercase => LOWERCASE
I viewed the emacs keymaps but to no avail.

I was also wondering if there's a way to do column selection and all those other cool emacs stuff.

Thanks,
yasmin

Ctrl + Shift + U toggles case, you can enable/disable column selection by using Alt + Shift + Insert (also listed under the Edit menu);

There is a keyboard reference chart on the intellij.org at http://www.intellij.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/IdeaReferenceCard

Hi again,
Alt + Shift + Insert is not working for me. And I don't see it in the Edit menu.

What's supposed to happen when I click it? Am I supposed to select first then hold Alt + Shift + Insert or after I hold the keys the selections become column wise?

This is new functionality introduced in the EAP and is not present in
IDEA 3.0. It will become available in IDEA 4.0 or you could try an EAP
build (release candidates are already available).

Good luck,
