IDEA for C#: Development
I've heard it's being developed... So, when do you plan to release it? Is there an estimated date for the final product release?
Are there going to be public betas to test, as with the EAP for Java's version of IDEA?
Could you please comment on its current development status?
Thanks!

No, not at the moment.
Yes, definitely, but we cannot say when yet.
Think half-year or the like (= some vague but not quite point in the future)
Yes sure: "development in progress" :)
Cheers,

So, I'm curious I assume your using VS.NET to write it at this point?
Just wanted to say I'm barely able to contain myself waiting.
When I heard C# Builder was coming out I figured "ah well, at least Borland is on board"... but they have NO refactoring, auto-imports, implementation helpers, dynamic error markups, etc...
So the door's wide open folks, they missed their shot.
Out of curiosity, so far is there anything about the C# language or conventions that makes it easier or harder to handle than Java?
We are currently developing a set of extensions to Visual Studio to
introduce all the cool editor and refactoring features to VS.NET.
conventions that makes it easier or harder to handle than Java?
As far as I know, Java is simpler to handle than C#.

"Development in progress", as I already answered in this thread.
Or do you want a confirmation directly from Eugene Belyaev? Will
first class mail suffice then? :)
