What do you think? Maybe I did something wrong?

I think Sascha's comment about the quote's is correct. In your original
post, you were doubling up your "'s without escaping them, which should
definitely cause a syntax error.

You made everything right but your bug not assigned to anyone in JetBrains team and that's why there are no replies. Jsp support is changed for Aurora and may be this request will be obsolete after implementing one. Activity in a bug discussion thread may help get reply from JetBrains.

I was also wondering about how long it takes for a bug to be looked at/responded to. My bug was posted here http://www.intellij.net/forums/thread.jsp?forum=13&thread=29096&message=474412&q=73706163696e67#474412 on May 9th. Now it is May 21st and nothing is happening (at least as far as I can tell). Should I just be more patient? Should I have posted somewhere else? How does one attract discussion of the bug?

Issues filed not through the tracker are not processed.

The right way to file an issue: go to http://www.intellij.net/tracker/idea/browse (you may need to log in) and click on the "Submit New Request" link.
