Custom project specific actions (tasks) Follow
Is it possible to have custom actions for a project: for example build/deploy tasks (sp IDE will run build/deploy script and display results)?

Ant and Phing support for build/deploy task is implemented in corresponding plugins. Also you can run any script with External Tools: configuring, other help.
