each "section" becomes its own project, add resource roots for the shared files

but if you have many vcs (one by project for example)
it doesn't work. only primary project (ressource root) work.

there are others many reasons too.
And if you watch the issue you will see than isn't idiot (I'm not alone to want that..)

It's not true. The fact that you did not bother to look into settings/configure it properly does not mean that such feature does not exist or does not work.

22 votes.. out of thousands of users... bet its mainly the users that sued for instance eclipse and dont want to change there way? i might be wrong on it tho. and since you can turn any folder into an IDE project.. im failing to see why the need exists.. hence why i asked in the first place

i don't see why i must setting something my vcs are configured on the directories of my 2 projects and phpstorm must do that alone.

you are happy like that i am happy for you but it's not my opinion.
Now we paid then we want the best and for the moment it's not really that. it's all.
Otherwise i take netbean or eclipse it's free.....

i still have NO idea why you want this feature tho.. what is your use case? how is your project setup?

root <-- project1
inc
css
sub_root <-- project2, set root/inc | root/css as resource roots
   test1
   test2
sub_root <-- project3 , set root/inc | root/css as resource roots

the only thing you need for a webIDE project is the .ide folder in it. then instead of having another panel open inside your IDE.. you can use your taskbar to jump between projects

I'm sorry to say -- but to get something advanced in any IDE you may need to do some small "configuration" (you know -- type some letters in some places, tick some check boxes and things like that). If that is too hard or complicated (or you do not want to do that) -- then I guess you better go back  to Eclipse (or whatever you have used before) as that IDE does not require any configuration at all and works like you want from very start (plus it's free).

If user wants this feature (cannot work without it) and happy to wait -- then let him -- it's his choice and he has his own reasons for that. No need to force anyone into something, especially when alternatives are available (right now -- opening multiple projects in separate windows).

That's fine. So what is the problem here? How is the above comment related to this comment (below) of yours?

(opening multiple projects in separate windows)

and autocomplete doesn't works. i must do add ressouces content ...etc....etc...really boring and useless..

but you are right on one thing.
It's my choice !

wow you're aggresive..

boring and useless... it takes 2 min to do.. and a project that size im sure 2 minutes wont make a difference.

however i can see a point for somehting liek this tho.. if you for instance change somehting int he 1 project it wont propogate to the others. so you do definately have a point there.

now i stop this discussion it's really useless to speak with you.
I hate lost my time.
My job is not write comments on a forum maybe it's your job (it's usefull for you in this case)

The discussion was closed for me since yesterday.
The issue will resolve my problem it's all. she will be done on the next major release. fine.
