I'm new to WebStorm, coming from Visual Studio/R# and I'm trying to get a handle on using Node+Typescript together.
I have node/npm installed and finally have tsc working as an external tool with the --sourcemaps option. I've created a new project with the Express 3.0.3 template. If I'm understanding everything correctly this should allow me to place breakpoints in .ts files after compiling them and while debugging.
Right now that doesn't seem to be working, I see the generated .map files and can break into the compiled .js files but not the .ts files. Am I missing a step?
Also, is there (or will there be) a nicer way to manage the compilation of .ts files? Having to manually invoke the tsc compiler seems a bit arduous.
