Connection issues Debugging with WebStorm JS in Chrome

I'm using the latest WebStorm EAP with the latest Chrome (details at end). I can't get Chrome debugger to connect.

Chrome process does not start at all. Debugger pane states "Connection to 127.0.0.1:7930". Scripts pane says "--Not connected to Chrome"

Setup info:

JetBrains WebStorm 5.0.2
Build #WS-121.252
Built on September 19, 2012
JDK: 1.6.0_31
VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
Vendor: Sun Microsystems Inc.

Chrome 21.0.1180.89 m

Log attached.

I've tried killing all Chrome processes first.
I've tried turning off and on custom profile web browser setting.

Any ideas?

Is it working with prev version of Google Chrome? Please try close Chrome and start debug  — is Chrome will be launched?.

Chrome does not even start (I've tried killing all processes to make sure its not running in the background or hidden).

Turns out Chrome wasn't starting because the executable path was wrong. It was pointing at a non-existing exe in my user directory.

I have no idea how that got set (probably when I imported settings though I've never had Chrome exe outside of Program Files on any system). Also there should probably be an error message that shows if it can't find an executable at a given path.
