how to change "open directory" default path?
File > Open Directory always opens in the root directory on my Linux system. Is there a way to set another default? I did not find this in the settings.

There is no such setting.
If this helps -- you can click on "Home" icon to navigate to your user home folder (useful if you store your projects somewhere there).
