PhpStorm 2.1.5 autosuggest for php functions not working

Heya,

booting up phpstorm today I found it doesnt autosuggest php functionc, such as "count" "substr", etc.
All of my custom templates and such still work and are autosuggested, I have not entered the settings for a good few weeks,
so no idea what could've caused it. Is there any way to re-enable this somewhere? Couldn't find anything in settings either as it's rather bloated.
