Is there an indicator for "File modified & Not saved yet"

Sorry if it is obvious, but I looked everywhere:

Is there an indicator for "File modified & Not saved yet"?

(How to check visually if the file was saved or no? In other editors there is a '*' for instance by the name of the file)

Hi there,

Settings | Editor | Editor tabs --> Mark modified tabs with asterisk

Great thanks. This is so convenient. Shouldn't it be the default?
Anyway I get now the spider :-) to appear when a tab is modified and not saved...

I would also vote for it to shown as the default setting.

it saves so much time when you forget to save one file before running your code.

...and if that spider could mutate to a sexier character - a simple (red) asterisk would be fine...

I agree with @Danack, please make it a default option.
I would also suggest to put it AFTER the file name (on the tab), otherwise it isn't very visible - or otherwise change the close symbol X to a bullet point like it's done in Visual Studio Code.

Thank you very much for the impressive work you did with PyCharm!

I agree with Edoardo, and I found there is a bug: if I disable "Show file icon", the "Show modified(*)" doesn't work, no start(*) on the tab for unsaved file.
