How to handle subdomains

I have a site with several subdomains. I've tried to map these directories, but when a path relative to the FTP root is requested, there is no way to meet this requirement.

Here's a basic outline of the server's structure:
/home
     /cdn
     /new
     /images
     /includes
     /public_html

Files located in 'public_html' reference files in the includes directory via relative file paths. In this case, the directory 'includes' is not a subdomain, but merely a directory located above web root to prevent unauthorized access.

Files located in 'new' reference files in the subdomain 'cdn'. The 'new' directory contains new software that will eventually replace that located in the 'public_html' directory; at that point 'public_html' will contain files referencing the subdomain 'cdn'.

In Deployment->Mappings the Web Path is required to be "relative to the web server root URL". How can I accomplish this when the subdomain is not relative to the web server root URL? That is, http://cdn.barrierfreehome.com is NOT http://www.barrierfreehome.com/cdn.

I've enclosed a pair of screenshots.

Hi Marty,

It cannot be done in current version of PhpStorm. Please check this ticket: http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/WI-1940?projectKey=WI and feel free to vote/comment/etc :).

If it is not exactly your case -- check for other issues in that category or submit new one.

Thanks Andriy!

I'll have to add my vote to that ticket.
