Remote project and FTP import

Hello,
as NuSphere phpEd user, I'm considering buying phpStorm (mainly because git support and some other nice features).
The only difference for my work I noticed so far is the lack of direct via FTP editing of remote files. I understand I have to create a new project from existing files and go "my web is on remote host, via FTP", i set up all the connection details, finish the setup and now the phpStorm starts to download all the files ...

And, this is the problem ... I have a structure like this

  - root
   - includes
   - libraries
   - images
. file1

. file2

. file3
...

To work in phpStorm, I need all the files in root, plus the subfolders INCLUDES and LIBRARIES, but i DO NOT need the IMAGES (as this folder may contain several Gb of data I will never edit via phpStorm).

Is there any way I can exclude this folder from being downloaded when the project is created (and later worked with) ?

Thank you

Hello Radek,

This is not supported yet, please watch/vote for WI-1398.

Currently you cannot choose to exclude invividual folder, please vote for WI-2226. Workaround is to choose 'Custom' option at Specify Local Path wizard page (it is the last page by default), then add 'images' to the exclusion mask at the next page. Please note this will make all the 'images' folders excluded, e.g. root/includes/images will not be downloaded as well.

Regards,
Kirill
