how do i increase the memory allocated for the IDE
Hello,
on the lower right where the garbage collector is i have the memory used displayed.
It is always around 254M.
In previous versions of the ide i had it at 512
i can figure out where to set that value
i thought it was VM param of -Xmx512M, but that does not seem to make a difference.
As a second question, is there a way to turn off at the top of the editor the html info?
Thanks

Hello Randy,
This is really -Xmx512M. You can specify it in idea.vmoptions. If anyway
IDEA uses only 254M, then probably it really needs just 254M of 512M for
your project. Any problems?
IDE settings / Editor / Appearance / Show HTML breadcrumbs, if I have correctly
understood the question.
Alexander.
Thanks for the response
i am sure it is "Show HTML breadcrumbs"
I am using 7.0.04
i do not see "Show HTML breadcrumbs".
is that only with version 8?
thanks
Randy
