Size of Project tool window

Hi folks.

Is it me or somebody else thinks that size of Project tool window leaves too little space for editor ?
First node is name of module (although I don't need it for my single-module project), then module root dir, then "src" dir, then "java" inside, and then I have some package 5 levels deep, and basically I have to expand this Project window to 40% of screen to properly see all packages. That leaves very little space for editor.
Although much inferior in everything else, JBuilder has some detailed settings to adjust source packages viewing...

I guess I'll have to raise my screen resolution to be able to work properly :(

If you are not already, for package viewing you should definitely use
the "Packages" tab in the Project tool window.

Have you tried using the "Flatten Packages" and "Hide Empty Middle
Packages" toolbar buttons and/or deselecting the "Show Modules" toolbar
button?

How about using the Commander to view the sources that you want to see.

Since we decided we wouldn't write more than 80 columns per line (for
convenience when reading/reviewing code), we don't have such problem.

The width of the code editing screen is a little bit wider than 80
columns and the project panel is about 40% of the screen (1024 x 768
resolution).

Also, try to use package panel. Just go to project panel (by typing
alt-1 then alt-left arrow) when you really need to do something in some
file that's not visible in package panel.

Does it help?

Franklin.
