Latest Scala Plug-in (2.2.0) Very Sluggish
This morning when I started up IDEA (at the time, 15.0.2, now upgraded to 15.0.3) it told me plug-in updates were available. I installed the 2.2.0 version of Scala. Ever since, editing (typing, scrolling and other editing actions) have become so slow and sluggish as to seriously impede my work.
I’m not sure what else to mention. It’s just very slow.
I tried to find an earlier version to install “from disk” but I haven’t been able to find one that it will install.
If there’s something I can do to help diagnose this, please let me know.

I rebooted my machine (late model MacBook Pro w/ 16 GB RAM), invalidated the caches and now things seem to be working OK. I had earlier increased the heap size to 1.25 GB (I also increased some of the other memory-related JVM parameters) but that did not, at the time, seem to help. However, I now see in the memory status bar that it is using more RAM than the entire previous heap limit.
