phpstorm doesn't come into view when I click a file from explorer
Hello there,
When I walk through my files from Windows's native file explorer and double-click to open it (sure, phpstorm defined as a default program) phpstorm opens the file but phpstorm's application window does not come into my view. I still have to click phpstorm from taskbar to see the file content.
This is really annoying and I've started to think that it might be a bug or something.

I feel myself awesome when some others have the same problems with mines :D But anyway, this scenarios also shows me how phpstorm has been ignoring that simple bug fixes. It has no meaning if you know how to fly but do not have wings to fly.
the issue is real. i have it also since a weeks (since the new layout update). command line open not working.. not always... very frustrating and i lost a lot of time, i need drop the files with mouse to open it.

Can you elaborate more on the issue you're facing? The original issue dates from 2016 and you mentioned about opening from CLI not working.

this is my fault. i didn't read rellay the topic.
i read feb 2026 not 2016, i'll say it's current then.
the fact that it doesn't come to the fore, it happened before anyway.
my problem is that it doesn't even load the files given in the parameter (.php) (opening from TC or explorer)
instead of simply opening the file in a new tab, it reloads the entire IDE, loads the last state of the project (according to the library) and that's it. 1 time out of 20, it opens the file in a new tab.
