Hi,

Could someone please go into detail on the difference between PyCharm and the IntelliJ python plugin? Are they the same product? I just get snippets from various tweets but would love some more detail!

The difference between PyCharm and the Python plugin is the same as between

RubyMine and the Ruby pluign. PyCharm will be a lightweight low-cost Python

only IDE based on the IntelliJ platform.

PyCharm will be a lightweight low-cost Python only IDE based on the IntelliJ platform, and it is great :-) Any info about EAP start?
