I want my "AppCode" folders to respect my real folders

Hi,

Is there any way to have "AppCode" folders respect my file hierarchy? I have an "AppCode" folder that reflects a folder that is present on my hard drive. When I want to add the files that are currently in that folder to the project (apex-1.png, ...., apex-14.png) the "AppCode" tree regroups all those files under a tab "apex.png". Is there a way to disable this?

Best regards,
François

Hi Francois.

When you add file to the project its hierarchy position depends on the folder which has focus at the time of adding.

Maybe it would be easier to attach these files repeatedly on the right position?

Could you please attach screenshot with your file hierarchy?

I have added the files, right-clicking on the apex folder and it created this "apex.png" kind of folder which I don't want.

Hi Francois.

Could you also please attach your settings for project hierarchy like on the screenshot.

Please try setting ‘Manual Order’ there. When it’s enabled AppCode should display project hierarchy in Xcode order. Will it help?

Hi,

Setting "Manual order" does not help. I think it is related to the fact that my files are images and are called in sequence apex-1.png, ..., apex-13.png. AppCode seems to beleive that these are images of different sizes of the same subject.

Hi Francois.

Could you please attach your settings for project hierarchy like on my previous screenshot?

Also please try to rename several files. Would it help?
