Making HTML5 the default?

Is there a way to set the editor to recognize HTML5 as the default when you are dealing with HTML templates that are fragments and do not have a DOCTYPE statement to tell the editor it is HTML5?

Settings | Resources | Default HTML language level

Thank you very much. Apparently I need to have my eyes checked to see if they are working :-) I must have passed over that a hundred times.
