Django Template Debugging - How?

Hi All,

I just downloaded PyCharm and would like to test template debugging feature. I set breakpoint to a line in my template file, ran server in the debug mode and set web browser to the corresponding web page. The execution did't stop at the breakpoint and the page was loaded as usual, without breakpoint. How to make it work? Should I set something in configuration?

I too am stumped as to how to get this to work. I'm currently using PyCharm 2.0 EAP 110.303 and debugger never stops at template breakpoints but does stop at breakpoints in views. I have added the template directories in settings.

I am using Linux Mint 64 bit with Django 1.3.1 and Python 2.6.

Any tips?

I have tried with all previous version of PyCharm too.

I've just upgraded to 110.377 and deleted the .idea folder in my project and started again. The breakpoints in my templates are still not hit. Any ideas?

I have the same set up on a Mac and template breakpoints work without problem.

I'll submit a bug report later today if nobody else has any ideas.

Hi Michael,

could you please provide your console output and path to template file.

What is your OS? Python and Django version? Do you use symbolic links anywhere in your project?
