Webstorm not recognizing any changes at all. Need to create new project.

After making some small changes to my html, I realized webstorm was not recognizing them. So, I gradually made massive changes - I actually deleted several dart and html files. And it still ran. I did a cold reboot. I repaired cache. I deleted .pub. But still it was running something from somewhere! This happened to me last week, on an entirely different project. The solution for me is to create a new project and copy the files into it. But where does it store the cache of files it is running? It seems crazy (driven *me* crazy!)

haven't heard of such issues... there was a problem updating changes because of 'safe writes' feature (https://github.com/dart-lang/sdk/issues/21402), but it's fixed in recent SDK versions. Also, restarting pub serve should normally be enough. Do you use application cache (http://www.html5rocks.com/en/tutorials/appcache/beginner/) by chance? What SDK version do you work with?
