Is there a way to create custom inspections in pycharm

Hi

in my current project I have some APIcalls that should not be used, as well as some other project specific coding conventions.

I was wondering if it is possible to create custom inspections for Pycharm to check if those conventions are met.

Yes. The inspections have to be written in Java, though. You can find plugin development information at http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display/IDEADEV/PluginDevelopment
