PyCharm External Diff Tools > Folder Compare doesn't seem to work Follow
I'm trying to configure PyCharm's external diff tools to setup folder comparison with my favorite comparison tool. File diffs work great! But folder diffs continue to use PyCharm's built-in diff tools.
I've tried messing around with the parameter order, but it always uses PyCharm diff for directory comparisons, no matter what I set.
What's the secret to getting this to work?

Which exactly diff operation are you trying to execute?

The "Compare Directories" option when I right-click on two highlighted directories in the Project window.

External diff tools are not supported for dirs, jars, DBs. Could you please file a feature request for that?
