PyCharm 2.6.3 on ubuntu 10.04 impossibly slow Follow
Hi!
I am running ubuntu10.04 64 bit in virtualbox in mac os lion. I have 2.3 GHz intel core i5, with 8GB 1333 MHz DDR3. I have dedicated 6GB to the VM.
A performance snapshot, shows that if I just touch pycharm in the slightest way, the cpu usage goes straight to 100%. RAM looks unchanged, always hovering around 18% of 6GB.
I've gone through various upgrades of pycharm over the last 2 years and this seems to randomly happen at different versions.
cheers,
Benjamin
I just also tried this on a native ubuntu10.04 32bit with 1.5Ghz dual core and 3GB ram. Works fine.
