Workaround for CPU bug?

Does anyone know a workaround for bug OC-2476? It's making AppCode pretty painful to use at the moment (since the last Apple update for the JDK, I think).

I've tried setting my JVMVersion in AppCode's info.plist to an older JDK (1.5*), but that doesn't seem to do the trick.

Setting the JDK/JRE to an older version on OS X will most likely not do anything.  There is only one JDK/JRE bundled on OS X. All older versions (< Java 6) are just symbolic links to the Java 6 version. I am speaking of modern versions of OS X of course.  I believe this started with Leopard.  This is of course assuming you havent hacked away at this yourself and added older runtimes.

Unfortunately there is no known workaround for this problem other that to revert the JDK update.
We'll release a bugfix update of AppCode ASAP.

Thanks for your patience.

No, my (Lion) installation is pretty stock. I hadn't noticed the symlinks (and AppCode is the first Java program I've ever used for more than about 2 minutes). Thanks.

OK, thanks. Look forward to the update.

Have retried OC-2476 with 1.0.2 and the problem still occurs.
