Can I configure AppCode to indent empty lines? Follow
I'd like all my lines be indented correctly. AppCode doesn't seem to indent empty lines, or it even actively removes indenting tabs from empty. This is cumbersome when I have disabled caret placement after end of line. So, can I configure AppCode to indent empty lines and keep them indented?

AppCode doesn't have such an option at this moment and we do not plan to implement it.
For your convinience there is another feature, called 'Editor->Smart Keys->End'. When enabled, AppCode will place the caret to the correct position in the empty line if you press <End>.
Surely you can also create an issue request and if it gather enouth votes we'll consider implementing it.
I think Mac editors should work the way I described. People might experience less friction when switching to AppCode if it worked the same way as Xcode. I see AppCode as a way of helping me type in the code, but I can't see this feature helping me type when it requires extra key presses for me to start typing where I want to type.
Hopefully I can learn to live with it.
As I said, feel free to create a youtrack issue - if it gets votes, we'll consider implementing it.
Well, if I'm the only one that's bothered by this, no-one will create the issue, and nobody has to do anything. If it bothers other people, I hope they create the issue and comment on this thread. Then I'll go and vote for it :)
Entering an issue isn't that much work. Took me about 2 minutes:
