Is it possible to use pycharm set breakpoints in packages when running inside of vagrant?

I can debug the running django app from within vagrant but I'm unable to set breakpoints in the packages that the primary app is using. I can't even find most of the packages under the External Libraries section. Is this possible at all? I've searched around the internet quite a bit and found nothing. Other methods of debugging are proving problematic.

I was just about to post a similar question. I cannot step into or through installed packages in my remote interpreter, though I can see them in External Libraries. The stack even shows me what line I'm on and the locals(). Just doesn't follow as I step through.

Hi, could you please create and issue at youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/PY and provide there information about which package are you trying to step into and how does the debugger behaive.
