Autocomplete in django templates

I love pycharm.
But when I'm in a template, 9 times out of 10 I don't have access to autocomplete or the ability to
click on a variable and see the method or class definition.

Where on the roadmap is bringing pycharm's power to django templates?

We need to process this as a support request, therefore need more data. Can you reproduce the issue in a new sample project, and then send it to us along with the reproduction steps?

If the issue happens so often as stated in the starting post, it should be easy to reproduce in a minimal project.

You can upload the file to and let us know the file name.

This really is a major pain-point for me too. Django templates don't autocomplete with what I expect it should show. I will open my own separate question with a specific example, but just wanted to add my +1 here.

I realize that to answer questions, you need to have a recreatable, reproducible example to first understand the problem. But I feel like there's so many areas where autocomplete within HTML templates while using Django is so broken, it's pretty easy to identify just writing basic Django template tags.

Maybe I don't have my PyCharm configured right, but the thing is, it does show autocomplete for the most high-level tags. So I don't think it's not that it's not working, it's just not working for most tags.
