Error in svn commit: E175002 Received fatal alert: bad_record_mac

Hello,

I am using pycharm 3 on linux and received this error on my first attempt to make an svn commit under pycharm.

Previously I was using the windows version and svn commits always worked without error.

Does anyone know what could be the problem? I was able to make the commit using command line svn without any error so it appears to be a pycharm related error.
