Open PY files in MAC PyCharm 3.4 directly

I've gotten the files to open from Finder, but PyCharm always displays the Welcome screen and dismisses the file I want opened.  How can I get pyCharm to display directly in the editor... it does this automatically in the PC... and I imported the settings into the MAC - but does not work.  

I'm clearly missing something obvious - enlightenment sought :)
