How to hide HTML sidebar icons?

I'm trying to work out how to remove the little HTML file icons which appear in the sidebar next to a function which returns an HTML template (in my case, Django support is enabled, but I guess it would do the same for Flask).

I have no idea why they are useful, particularly since I seem to have 6 or 7 icons all pointing to the same template. It just takes up space from the editor!

Have been through all the settings and can't find the option to disable this "feature"......
