Option for Create select statement

On right clicking a table in the popup add an option to create select statement, which will create a select of each column from the table.

This helps in cases where table has large number of columns and if user just need to select every column except 1 or 2 (user can comment the column that is not needed and run the query.

Ex:

SELECT A1,
              A2,
              .
              .
             An
FROM foo

Hello Rama,

Note that you can query table result by selecting the table and hit F4 shortvut or Table Editor action from the contect menu. To quickly generate SQL select query in the SQL Console you can by writing 'sel' and hitting Enter to insert Live Template with the select statement. Please check https://www.jetbrains.com/dbe/help/live-templates.html . Having one more action for it may seem redundant. Does it help?

I'd like to see this feature added to IntelliJ at some point.  I have tables with 20+ columns, sometimes I need to write a SQL SELECT that includes 18 of them.  A way to generate a SELECT with ALL columns from the table from within IntelliJ would be very handy.  Please let me know if that feature already exists and I've missed it.  Thanks to the OP. - Mateo
