multi-project builds - problem with logging

Hi
I've converted to a multi-project sbt build.
A problem I'm encountering concerns logging. For some reason it now all goes to the console instead of the log file. I also get this:

so in running tests in a sub project I automatically end up searching all the other test folders in the other sub-projects. Is there a way of controlling this please?
