I have asked a SO question, about a way to avoid initial scema scan, or make it less aggressive
I haven't get any answer, so I have decided to post question here, as you probably doesn't monitor Stack Overflow.
In short - problem is, that we have a huge DB, and starting 0xDBE takes ages, and seems to disturb DB normal operation during this time. Probably lock it into one huge transaction. Is it possible, to avoid that scan?
And is it possible to grab that indices(cahces, or some internal structure, which is created during that scanning time) and disstribute it between developers, to avoid them doing their own scan, or speed-up it?
It's really nice tool, but at current moment it's impossile to use on real db. I'm looking forward getting rid of sqldeveloper.
P.S. Real DB is "Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition" v184.108.40.206.0
