On a new directory that I have attached I get that dialog with the three options - I think what happened here is that I tried to set the directory as excluded in an attempt to remove it, and on that excluded directory I now only get the delete dialog that I mentioned above. So, is there anyway to undo that exclude?
Edit: Found it, in the default.iml file in the .0xDBE10/config/projects/default/.idea directory it was set up with an exclude option. I removed that from the file and I was then able to detach it. Thanks Alexander.
To work this around, please exit the IDE and go to (user.home)/.0xDBE10/config/projects/(your.project)/.idea/default.iml. Find and remove "excluded" element in that file, then restart.
Hi.
Delete action suggests either Detach or Delete. Maybe not too obvious.
Regards,
Alexander.
I'm not so sure about that Alexander, here's what I get:
Delete directory "D:"?
All files and subdirectories in "D:" will be deleted.
You might not be able to fully undo this operation!
I'm thinking that 'delete' does something very different from 'detach'.
Hm. I select a directory, press Delete. The dialog with three choices appears: Detach, Delete, Cancel. Detach does detach.
(However, please try this with some dummy, safe-to-lose directory.)

Thank you, created an issue: http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/DBE-541
The GUI for de-excluding a directory seems to be removed from 0xDBE.
To work this around, please exit the IDE and go to (user.home)/.0xDBE10/config/projects/(your.project)/.idea/default.iml. Find and remove "excluded" element in that file, then restart.

Alexander.
