"Expression expected" when using @ in Scala templates

Everytime I am using Scala code in my Play! template I get errors like "expression expected", "statement expected", "unterminated statement" and so on. The errors are everywhere I use Scala code but the code compiles.

Doesn't the plugin recognize it as a scala template? The file name is handle_media.scala.html
