How to evaluate expressions in a closure Follow

When I'm stopped in a breakpoint inside a closure, I cannot evaluate expressions that include variables that are outside the closure, i.e., variables that need a dollar suffix.

Is this a current limitation or a bug?
What are the current limitations when evaluating an expression?
I've checked that implicit conversions aren't supported.
I can supply some example if necessary.
