Issues with external build

Hi, trying out the new build and have some weird compliation issue.

It's fine under the old way but a rather odd project I have fails when switched the new process.

Not really sure what it is, but it complains it's missing types. There is one file that contains many classes.

This comes from a project on the scala coursera work. Hence the project was either generated from the sbt definition or imported eclipse project that came with it.
