Multiline strings criple the editor?

Hi,

Whenever I insert a multiline string into the code (even if it actually has one line) the file editor becomes unusable. It freezes for a couple seconds after each keystroke. Observed on Windows 7 and Linux, JDK 6 & 7, everything 64bit, Leda 122.813 + Scala plugin 0.6.299.

Any ideas?

EDIT: it seems to occur when editing only some Scala files, will try to narrow it down
