New->Scala * only available on classes, not packages Follow
In the packages view, the context menu for packages does not inlude the New->Scala* actions. But on an existing scala class they do exist. I don't think it was always this way.

I don't understand you at all.
But what I understand, that it's wrong if context menu does not include scala new actions. It can be if package not marked as source. But if it's marked, then would be great if you send us screentshot or/and small project with permanent effect.
If it's not permanent effect, so I think it can be idea internal problem, then I'll send them your issue.

Whoops, I forgot about this -- because I only saw it once at the end of the night. The next day, well, all was fine. So probably user error or maybe some bad state due an exception. Sorry for the noise.
