⌘+b for type navigation is broken?

Answered

Hello,

I've updated IntelliJ and plugins, so that now I have the following configuration:

IntelliJ IDEA 2016.1.1
Build #IC-145.597, built on March 29, 2016
JRE: 1.8.0_40-release-b132 x86_64
JVM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM by JetBrains s.r.o

Scala plugin 3.0.3

I used to be able to navigate to type definition with ⌘+b. It still works for scala types (like Option, etc.), but stopped working for the types defined in my application. This is my most used feature and a serious drawback. It may be that some mapping had changed, but I was not able to figure it out quickly.

My project is built with sbt and compiles without errors if that matters.

Could someone please, advice how this could be fixed?

Thanks,

Timur

Please report a bug at https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issues/SCL and attach a sample project to reproduce the issue. Also provide idea.log files: https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/articles/207241085.

See if the issue still persists with 2016.1.2 RC from https://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/IDEADEV/IDEA+2016.1+EAP and the updated Scala plug-in.

Turns out an sbt project was not correctly picked up. When I opened build.sbt it shown a top-line "build.sbt is SBT build file", and hitting "Import project" fixed the issue.
