RubyMine 8 problem with open file (command-shift-o)

I upgraded to RubyMine 8 this morning and now when I do Command-shift-o to look for files to open, I see all the files in all the bundles, which makes the functionality nearly useless as my project files are burried under tons of .bundle files.   This happens whether or not I have the "Include non-project files" checkbox checked.

A problem related to this behaviour, is that Rubymine stops opening the file as well after some point.
I can use the command-shift-o combination like 5 times to open the same file, but the sixth time the IDE refuses to open the file at all.
Double clicking the file in the tree on the side does not work either. Opening different files works.

Only restarting the IDE solves this problems.
