What determines placement of popup dialogs and intellisense prompts?

I'm running RubyMine 4.0.3 on Ubuntu 12.04 beta 2 with all updates. I have dual monitor setup running NVidia driver and when I'm using RubyMine I notice that the intellisense and popup dialogs (adding files to source control for example) are in odd places. The intellisense is in the top right corner of the other monitor (not the monitor that RubyMine is displayed in).

Just curious if there is anything that I can do to "contain" all of RubyMine to one monitor without disabling my 2nd monitor.

Hi,

this is IDEA's common problem (not a specific) RM's one.
So, I'd suggest to ask on their forum http://devnet.jetbrains.net/community/idea/ideacommunity?view=discussions
Though I'd expect that this is either java bug or bug in the window manager you use.

With best regards, Oleg.
